Lorraine Emma Godshall, 96

DOVER - Lorraine Emma Godshall, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008. She was 96. She was born on Feb. 20, 1912. She was the wife of the late William Godshall, and resided at Westminster Village in Dover. Loraine was a member of the League of Women Voters, and was an avid dancer. Loraine was a gentle woman who always saw the best in others. Quick to love and slow to anger, she was loved, and will be missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Godshall is survived by nieces, Ms. Wendy Rasmussen of Durahm, Pa., Mrs. Christine Shumate of Lewes, and Mrs. Lynn Britton of Yardley, Pa.; sister-in-law, Mrs. Merri Salazar of Warminster, Pa.; nephew, Randall Quaste of Point Pleasant, Pa.; nieces, Mrs. Lynn McNally of Doylestown, Pa., and Mrs. Lisa Shay of Wake Forest, N.C. There will be no calling hours, burial service or memorial service at the request of Mrs. Godshall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations should be sent to The American Cancer Society.
