SMYRNA - Lorraine E. Bieling, died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital. Ms. Bieling was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on July 1, 1929 to the late Charles and Christine Sager Bieling. She was employed by the Internal Revenue Service in New York City and also the Squibb Pharmaceuticals Company in Brooklyn. In 1984 she moved to Smyrna and continued working for a short while before retiring. She enjoyed working in, and being in her yard and was a bird enthusiast. Ms. Bieling is survived by her sister, Joyce H. Everett of Millington, Md; two nieces, Lorraine Susan Molano of Clarksville, Tenn., and Patricia Ann Sullivan of New Village, N.Y.; two nephews, Robert M. Tennison of Cheswold, Del., and Christopher Bieling of Finksburg, Md; also surviving are four nieces, extended family, and close friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, at the Torbert Funeral Chapel, South, 1145 E. Lebanon Rd. (Rt. 10), Dover, DE 19901, where friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Smyrna Odd Fellows Cemetery.
