Loretta Lahman 'Becky' Cornwell, 34
HARRINGTON - Loretta Lahman "Becky" Cornwell, of Harrington, died of cancer at Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008. She was 34.
She was born in Newark to Douglas E. and the late Louise Lahman.
Loretta worked as a cashier at several convenience stores, including more recently at Royal Farms and Mobil Convenience Store, both in Milford.
She was very outgoing and enjoyed her friends and family. She was known for putting others before herself.
Loretta had a beloved pet, her dog, Tippy.
She will be sadly missed by all.
She was predeceased by her mother, Louise; and a brother, Cristopher Lahman.
She is survived by her husband of over 13 years, Timothy J. Cornwell of Harrington; daughters, Ashley L. Lahman of Harrington, and Shannon Lee Weather and Cristina Joe Cornwell, both at home; one stepdaughter, Shannon L. Hamilton of West Virginia; her father, Douglas E. Lahman of Harrington; her mother- and father-in-law, Margaret and Everett Cornwell; two brothers, Ricky Lahman of Milford and Leroy Lahman and his wife Cheryl of Harrington; two sisters, Diane L. Devine and her husband Anthony of Bear and Debbie Lahman of Weimer, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Price Funeral Home, 6 Dorman St., Harrington, where friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Interment will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to help defray funeral costs sent to Price Funeral Home, 6 Dorman St., Harrington, DE 19952.
