Loraine Joyce Morton

DOVER - Loraine Joyce Morton passed away, Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford.
Mrs. Morton was born Nov. 10, 1934 in Middletown, Pa. to the late Raymond Leach and Alfreda Wolf Leach.
She worked for Playtex for 20 years retiring in 1991, after retirement she worked for Caesar Rodney School District in the cafeteria. Mrs. Morton was a member of Wyoming United Methodist Church and enjoyed crafts, handy work and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She never missed an opportunity to tell people she loved them and never knew a stranger.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brother, Charles Leach; and sister, Charlotte Junker.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, William Donald Morton, Sr. of Dover; children, Caroline Kerr (Robert) of Felton, William D. Morton, Jr. of Magnolia, Joseph S. Morton (Myra) of Lincoln and Rodney A. Morton (Candy) of Laurel; brothers, Raymond Leach (Jeanette), Robert Leach (Winnie) all of Middletown, Pa., Kenneth Leach (Betty) of Mt. Joy, Pa.; sisters, Anna Mae Fornwalt (Charles), Alfreda Slesser all of Middletown, Pa. and Martha Bruce (Charles) of Hershey, Pa.; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Wyoming United Methodist Church, 216 Wyoming Mill, Road, Dover, DE 19904.
