DOVER - Overseer Lonnie C. Harris III, Pastor of Ecclesia Family Worship Center, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2013 at Christiana Hospital with his loving wife by his side. Overseer Harris was the faith-based liaison for the United Way of Delaware and a Chaplain for Kent General Hospital in Dover. Overseer Harris was also the Charter Representative for Troop 625 of the Boy Scouts of America and a member of the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance. A Homegoing Celebration is scheduled for Sat., July 27, 2013, 11 a.m. at the First Pilgrim Baptist Church, 6 Miles Lane, Camden. Condolences may be sent to Ecclesiafwc@aol.com or forwarded to P.O. Box 1613, Dover, DE 19901. Arrangements are being handled by Spencer Funeral Home Dover, Delaware.
