Lloyd R. Hoxter

DOVER - Lloyd R. Hoxter, IV passed away Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017 due an auto accident.
Lloyd was born May 24, 1982 in Milford, to Lloyd R. Hoxter, Jr. and the late Deborah (Allen) Hoxter. Lloyd attended Milford High School where he was very active in track, basketball and football.
He worked at Amazon in the IT department as well as being a Liscensed Life Insurance Consultant. He loved being a mentor and great influence to his nephew Adrian Hoxter. He also mentored younger kids, and loved spending time with his family and friends. Lloyd enjoyed traveling and sports, especially watching the Baltimore Ravens. His biggest love was raising his two children.
Lloyd is survived by his father, Elder Lloyd R. Hoxter, Jr. of Dover (wife Sandy); his grandmother, Delores Hoxter of Easton, Md.; his aunts, Barbara Travers of Gwynn Oak, Md., Elizabeth Butler of Columbia, Md., and Vanessa Lawrence of Easton, Md.; his children, Zy'Nierah James-Hoxter and Zy'Shawn James-Hoxter; siblings, Nehemiah Hoxter, Sr. (wife Shannon), Naomi Hoxter, Latoya Hoxter and Charity Rene (husband Guinouss) all of Dover; fiancé, Alicia Brown of New Jersey; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Boys and Girls Club, Southern Administrative Office, 1635 New Burton Road, Dover, DE 19904, (o) 302-674-3313.
Services will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, at Frontline Ministries, 516-A Jefferic Blvd, Dover, DE, 19901. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Interment will be in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
