EAGAN, Minn. - Lisa Maria Harmon, 44, passed away on Jan. 10, 2011, in Eagan, Minn. She was born the daughter of Agnes (Hurst) (Harmon) Bryant of Milford, and the late Rufus Percy Harmon. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Pierre Harmon; and stepfather, Wayman L. Bryant. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a sister, Teresa Harmon Haman of Bear; and Godmother, Elizabeth Pettyjohn. Ms. Harmon worked as a manufacturing engineer, Corporate Quality and Manufacturing Services for 3M Corp., in Minnesota for 22 years. In 2009, she opened her own business, Harmony Care, "Right at Home," a non-medical health care agency helping seniors with chores of life. She was a member of Living Word Christian Center in Minnesota, Big Sister Volunteer, Vital Aging Network Leadership Group, and the National Private Duty Association. She traveled worldwide, including Paris, France, Australia, New Zealand, China, Latin America, and Sahara, Sub-Saharan, Africa. Funeral services were 1 p.m., Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church, Ellendale, Del., where a viewing began at 11 a.m. Burial was in Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church Cemetery. Donations in Lisa's memory can be made to Agnes Bryant, 5 Linstone Lane, Apt. 404, Milford, DE; or Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church, 18211 Beach Hwy., Ellendale, DE 19941.
