DOVER - Lionetta A. Wharton, 46, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2016 in Dover. She leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Monica A. Wharton and her fiancé, Kurtis Williams; a mother, Calenia J. Wharton; a sister, Marietta E. Wharton; three aunts, Eula C. Trent, Dorothy J. Watson, Marian W. Ames; and a god-mother, Gloria Taylor. She was born on May 27, 1969 in Salsbury, Md. She graduated from Seaford Sr. High School in 1987. She attended Norfolk State University and enjoyed playing the clarinet in the band there. She also played the piano. Lionetta was fun loving, kind, and spirited. She had a beautiful smile for everyone whom she came in contact with. Lionetta also leaves a host of wonderful, kind, loving, special and precious relatives and friends to cherish her memory. Her celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Mount Nebo United Methodist Church, 36359 Mount Herman Circle, Delmar, Delaware 19940. A viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the celebration of life.
