Turner, 84 LINCOLN – Linville D. Turner passed away Tuesday Dec. 18, 2012 at home surrounded by his family. Linville was born May 11, 1928 in Warrensville, N.C. to the late Joseph S. Turner & Elsa J. Turner. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Lucille Turner; a son, Gary Turner; a brother, JoAllen Turner and a sister, Ilene Turner. He had worked and owned the American Gas station in N.C. and then later after moving to Maryland he started working for the Civil Service for many years, retiring from the Edgewood Arsenal. Linville enjoyed fishing, crabbing, hunting, working on cars, making furniture and most of all he enjoyed family get-togethers. For many years Linville was a member of the Otter Point Yacht club in Abingdon, Md. Linville is survived by his wife, Pearl M. Turner of Aberdeen, Md., five daughters, Janet Jordan of Aberdeen, Md., Joyce Ries of Madison, Ala. , Patti Lurito of Abington, Md., Brenda Urban of Aberdeen, Md. and Lisa Bryner of Lincoln; two sons, Glen Turner of Riverside, Md. and Kenneth Turner of Elkton, Md.; a brother, Lillard Turner and seven sisters, Maxine Trotter, Wilma Shepard, Ilene Turner, Ruth White, Dora Smith, Mary Hopkins and Catherine Ashley; 18 grandchildren, Sherry, Rose, Amanda, Michael, Wendy, Sarah, Deanna, Megan, Ashley, Chris, Miguel, Joaquin, Justin, Christine, Glen, Scott, Christopher; and Leah, who was his care taker; as well as 20 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held from noon till 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at Pippin Funeral Services, Camden-Wyoming, DE.
