Linda Theresa Dunlop passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at Courtland Manor Nursing Home. Linda was born on March 9, 1949, to the late Doris and Thomas Dunlop in Wilmington, Delaware.
Linda attended Holy Rosary School in Claymont and moved to Dover in 1963 and graduated from Holy Cross High School in 1967.
Linda had many health obstacles to overcome throughout her life. Even though she had lots of support from her family, she remained very independent. She had her own apartment starting in her early 20's continuing into her late 60's.
Linda was an avid reader, she kept up on all the news, locally and globally. She loved all types of music, but she was a big George Strait fan. She was also a big Disney fan and visited Disney World for a week with her sister and nephews, a trip that she always fondly remembered.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her sister, Marie Dee and her husband Jim; her two brothers, Tom and Mike Dunlop; her two nephews, Tommy Dunlop and Ben Little; and six great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Courtland Manor Nursing Home for the amazing love and care that Linda was shown during the last three years.
Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com
