Linda Osiecki, 79
Linda Joyce Osiecki née Mastrangelo passed away on June 23, 2023, in Dover, Delaware, after five months of illness.
Linda was born on February 21, 1944. She grew up in Iselin, New Jersey. After graduating from Woodbridge High School in 1961, she worked at Merck until her marriage to Charles in 1965. Since 1968, she resided in Budd Lake, New Jersey, with Charles for 56 years. She moved to Dover, Delaware, in 2021 following the death of her husband.
Over her lifetime, Linda had varied interests and hobbies. In their 20s, she and her husband participated in road rallies. She did embroidery, ceramics and gardening. She enjoyed watching mysteries. She loved going to performances and events of her grandchildren. For decades, she faithfully did the church bulletin for Budd Lake Union Chapel. Linda was always quick to help a friend or neighbor.
For several years, Linda and Charles had volunteered at the Mount Olive Pantry, doing food donation pick-ups, inventory, and organizing.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Mary and Anthony Mastrangelo. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Michele, Cheryl (Scheir), and Becky; her grandchildren, Jake and Hayley (Scheir); and her sister, Lois Bolyard. Other family members include: Ann Marie and Bruce Curtis; Bill Hayes; Jeanne, Neal and Phillip Petty; Craig Scheir; Greg Bolyard; and members of the extended Mastrangelo, Osiecki and Berkowicz families.
A memorial service will be held in New Jersey at Mountaintop Church, 6 Naughright Road, Hackettstown, New Jersey.
