Linda Mae Blanchard-Fullerton, 53
DOVER - Linda Mae Blanchard-Fullerton, of Dover, died Tuesday, June 10, 2008, in the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. She was 53.
Linda was born June 4, 1955, in Dover, to the late Charles Baker and Betty Louise Travis Baker.
She was a homemaker but was trained as a nurse's aid and had worked at the Palmer Home in Dover for many years.
She had gone through the House of Pride and continued to go back to volunteer.
During that time she had made a connection with the Christ Church in Dover.
Linda enjoyed crocheting "prayer shaws" for the church and helping others.
She loved her dog Colby.
Linda is survived by her grandmother, Annie Travis of Felton; her husband, James Michael Fullerton of Dover; three sons, Christopher and Steven Blanchard both of Medford, Ore., and Jeffrey Blanchard of Nampa, Idaho; her brother, Charles Baker of Camden; three sisters, Sue Burns of Camden, Wanda Beebe of Ellendale, and Mary Chamberlain of Camden; two aunts, Virginia Creed of Felton, and Patricia Halsy of Camden; three grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A viewing will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday in Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover.
A committal of ashes will be 11 a.m. Friday in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, 6486 Bay Road, Frederica. A memorial service will follow at the Christ Episcopal Church, 501 S. State St., Dover.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford St., Dover, DE 19904 to help defray funeral expenses.
