Linda M. Heim

GREENWOOD - Linda M. Heim died at home on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017, surrounded by her family.
Linda was born on Jan. 15, 1958, in Camden, N.J., the daughter of Marie Jacobs of Seaford and the late George Black.
She dearly loved her late husband Norman, her family, and especially playing with her grandchildren. Linda enjoyed watching NASCAR, murder mysteries, and horror shows, talking on the phone, homecooked meals, and drinking coffee while sitting on her deck. She also had a great sense of humor, and would give a helping hand to anybody.
Besides her father and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Dana Heim; two sisters, Dallasee Palverento and Sherry Burden; and a brother, Darryll Wallace.
Besides her mother she is survived by two daughters, Desa Heim (Harold) and Stephanie Torres; a son, Norman Heim Jr. (Tammy); five grandchildren, Dominick, Shyanne, Joshua, Ryan and Hunter; a brother, Mike Gormely; a sister, Desiree Black (Brian); her niece, Kenzie Palverento (Pete) and her daughter, Gabi Lou; many other nieces and nephews; her favorite caregiver, Natasha Welch; and her coffee buddy, Tara Willey and kids.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, 2 p.m. at Abundant Life Church, 28714, Seaford Road, Laurel, DE 19956.
Interment will be private.
Arrangements handled by Fleischauer Funeral Home, Greenwood.
