WORTON, Md. - Linda Lou Boynton of Worton died Thursday, May 3, 2007, in her home. She was 56.
Mrs. Boynton was born March 19, 1951, in Baltimore, daughter of the late William and Hilda Marie (Shouman) Hughes. She had lived in Evanston, Wyo., for 24 years, and for the last three years in Worton. Mrs. Boynton was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Smyrna. She enjoyed the water and fishing and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Wise.
Mrs. Boynton is survived by her husband of 11 years, Cory L. Boynton; a daughter, Michele Stalcup of Glen Burnie; a stepdaughter, Alix Boynton of Rock Springs, Wyo.; three brothers, Michael Hughes of Grand Prairie, Texas, and John Wise Jr. and Jerry Wise of Baltimore; two sisters, Susan Wise of Baltimore, and Eleanor Rest of Arbutus; and two grandchildren, Tara Marie Stalcup and Nicholas Reid Stalcup.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St., where friends may call on Monday evening from 7 to 9. Burial in Big Woods Cemetery.
