Linda Lee Walton, 42

MAGNOLIA - Linda Lee Walton of Magnolia died peacefully Wednesday, April 11, 2007, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 42.

She was born Dec. 29, 1964, in Dover.

Linda was a 1982 graduate of Capitol Baptist School.

She was a teacher for Capitol Baptist School for 17 years and for the past three years had worked for Bayhealth as a teacher in the daycare.

Linda devoted her life to the care of others. She was a member of Capitol Baptist Church, Dover.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Mary Papen; and paternal grandparents, George Sr. and Edna Walton.

Linda is survived by her parents, Mary (Papen) and John Walton Sr. of Magnolia; two brothers, John Walton Jr. and his wife Suzanne of Peru, Ind., and Jim Walton and his wife Tammy of Cypress, Texas; two sisters, Lisa Cosmos and her husband Jim of Algonquin, Ill., and Laura Luckenbach and her husband Mark of Magnolia; her nieces and nephews, Faith, Sarah and John Walton III, all of Peru, Marissa, Erica and Julia Cosmos, all of Algonquin, and Morgan and Jack Walton, both of Cypress; and her maternal grandfather, George Papen of Dover.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday in Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Capitol Baptist Church, 401 Kesselring Ave., Dover.

Burial will be in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts in her memory to Capitol Baptist Church, 401 Kesselring Ave., Dover, DE 19904.
