Linda L. Machulas

Linda L. Machulas, 57

FELTON - Linda L. Machulas, of Felton, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, at Kent General in Dover. She was 57.

Mrs. Machulas was born and raised in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late Warren and Emma Pennell. Later, she moved to Jackson, N.J., and then New Egypt, N.J., where she spent most of her time.

She worked at the school in New Egypt and Scott's Market for a while.

In Felton, Mrs. Machulas mostly farmed, was a manager at the Goose Creek store and spread her care and love to the people around her and the animals she had.

She was an American Legion volunteer in New Egypt, N.J., and chapter president of Deborah Heart and Lung.

Mrs. Machulas is survived by her companion Harvey Baker, of Felton; sons Charles and John Machulas and Alan Pennell; sisters Barbara Kubiak, Doris and Sissy; brother Sonny Pennell; and grandchildren Taylor and Dean Pennell.

She will be missed by many.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3, at Bible Baptist Church, 8 Magnolia Ave., New Egypt, N.J. Call (609) 758-7667 for directions.
