Lincoln Ogg, 86

MILFORD - Lincoln Ogg, of Milford, passed away Monday, March 9, 2009, in the Hospice House, Milford. He was 86. He was born on Feb. 12, 1923, in Howard City, Mich., son of the late Melvin and Esther (Field) Ogg. Lincoln had served his country proudly in the U.S. Army Air Corp serving during World War II. He had worked as a machine operator for General Foods, Dover. Lincoln volunteered at the Milford Center. He enjoyed woodworking, clocks, artwork, painting, latch hook rugs. His hands were always busy. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Beatrice Ogg in 2006. He is survived by four daughters, Jo Ann Lathbury of Laurel, Elaine DeVita of Milford, Kathleen Ryan of Frederick, Md., and Lisa Holden of Springfield, Ore.; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call one hour earlier. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Sandtown.
