Lillie E. Walls, 102

MILTON - Lillie E. Walls, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, in her daughters home in Georgetown. She was 102. Mrs. Walls was born in Georgetown, the daughter of the late Asher and Nellie (Forst) Campbell. Mrs. Walls worked as an attendant for Stockley Center for many years, retiring in 1974. She enjoyed working in her large vegetable and flower garden well into her 90 's. She especially loved to take care of her pink roses. She enjoyed working and just keeping busy. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Walls, 1968; and her eight siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Geraldine Scott and her husband Glenn, of Georgetown; two granddaughters, Glenda Scott, of Georgetown, and Gerry Bloodsworth and her husband Robert, of Harrington; and two great-grandchildren, Scott and Jessica Bloodsworth. Funeral Services will be noon Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008 in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal Street, Milton, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
