LeRoy 'Jim' Howard Study, 74

ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. - LeRoy "Jim" Howard Study, 74, formerly of Littlestown, died Sunday, May 10, 2009, at his home in Abbottstown. Prior to living in Abbottstown, he resided in Woodside, Del., for 49 years. He was the widower of Kathryn (Eckenrode) Study who died in 2004. Born June 28, 1934, in Hanover, he was the son of the late Howard and Florence (Scheivert) Study. He was a Littlestown High School graduate. He was a Truck Driver for many years and was retired as former owner of Great Adventure Yard Sale in Woodside, Del. He served in the Air Force during the '50's. He was a member of United Methodist Church of Woodside. Jim is survived by a sister, Loretta J. Smith of New Oxford, and nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown, with the Rev. Thomas E. Stellhorn of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Littlestown, officiating. A Viewing will be from 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be private in Sharon Hills Cemetery of Dover, Del. Memorials may be sent to Adams County S.P.C.A.. 11 Goldenville Rd., Gettysburg, PA 17325.
