Leonard Joseph Lorsong, 92

GREENWOOD - Leonard Joseph Lorsong, of Greenwood, formerly of Henderson, Md., died Saturday, June 27, 2009, at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford, Del. She was 92. He was born Jan. 24, 1917, in Jersey Shore, Pa., to the Albert J. and Francis Moore Lorsong. Mr. Lorsong was retired foreman and machinist for International Laytex Corporation of Dover, Del. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church of Marydel, Md. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Naomi M. Hill Lorsong; three sons, Dennis Lorsong of Henderson, Md., David Lorsong of Harrington, Del. and Jonathon Lorsong of West Friendship, Md.; three daughters, Susannah Tough of Milford, Del., Theresa Guethler of Bucksport, Maine, and Veronica Richardson of Lincoln, Del.; one brother, Emmons Lorsong of Jersey Shore, Pa.; two sisters, Catherine Johnson of Hagerstown, Md., and Joan Hochmoth of Salisbury, Md.; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be noon Wednesday, July 1, in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 522 Main Street, Marydel, Md., where a visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Greensboro, Md. Condolences may be sent via www.fleegleandhelfenbein.com. Arrangements by Fleegle & Helfenbein Funeral Home, P.A., Greensboro, Md.
