'Betty', 78 DOVER - Leona Elizabeth Hall "Betty" of Dover passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014, at Kent General Hospital. She was 78. Betty was born August 24, 1935 in Tacoma Park, Maryland to the late Melville Milstead and Leona Dilworth Milstead. She was a homemaker and loved her family tremendously; from her husband of sixty-three years, to their three children, to her eleven grandchildren, and her thirteen going on fifteen great-grandchildren. She was very involved in the lives of her family and friends, and was always willing to help them whenever she could. Betty enjoyed all things purple, golf, gardening, golf, puzzles, golf, spending time on the computer, and when all that was done, more golf. She was committed to excellence in everything she did; she always strove for perfection. She was kind, caring, and it brought her great joy to help others. She has touched the lives of her friends and family, and has impacted them all in so many ways. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Bobbie Clingerman. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Norman Hall of Dover; sons, Christopher Hall and his wife Linda of Salem, Va., Michael Hall of Glen Burnie, Md.; daughter, Laura Reisler of Glen Bernie, Md.; brothers, Charlie, Albert, Robert Milstead; sister, Melva Dunphy; grandchildren, April Villa, Brian, Benjamin, Sabrina, Mindy, Becky, Angela, Katie and Kimberly Hall, Jason and Josh Reisler; great grandchildren, David, Christina, Andrew, Mateo, Jonathan, Esperanza, Samuel Villa, Jaquelyn, Breanne, Silas, Selah, Aubree Hall, and Ryleigh Burton; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Cheswold United Methodist, 97 Main St. Cheswold, DE 19936. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to "The Ladies Circle" of Cheswold United Methodist Church.
