MILTON - Lenwood Lee Eley, Jr. passed from time into eternity, surrounded by his loving wife, children, and other family members on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017 at home after a lenghty illness. Lee as he was fondly called spent his entire life in Milton. For many years he cut hair along with his father Lenwood, Sr., after the death of his father he continued to barber on his own, until his health would no longer permit it. Lee was a member of Storm Shelter Ministeries under the pastorate of his brother Pastor Leonard Eley.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Freda M. Eley; two daughters, April L. and Landy Tyler, of Lincoln and Meika A. Eley, of Milton; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four brothers, Michael and Roberta Eley, of Milton, Raphus and Marie Eley, of Milton, Pastor Leonard and 1st Lady Dorian Eley, Herbert Eley, of Georgetown; six sisters, Joyce and Johnny Santiago, of Ellendale, Sandra and Charles Chandler, of Laurel, Caroline Eley, of Millsboro, Kassandra Taylor, of Dover, Jean and James Johnson, of Harbeson and Jeanette Cooper, of Milton.
Service will be Saturday Sept 23, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Bethel A M E Church, Mulberry St., Milton, DE 19968. Friends may call at the church one hour before service.
