MILFORD - Lawrence E. Sylvester of Milford died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006, in Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital. He was 75.
Mr. Sylvester retired from the General Motors Assembly Plant, Newport, in 1994 after 28 years of service.
He was a member of Lincoln United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence P. Sylvester and Anna (Donovan) Sylvester Diggs; and his first wife, Alice M. Sylvester, in 1995.
He is survived by his second wife, Marianne Sylvester of Milford; two sons and two daughters-in-law, James and Lorrie Sylvester of Lincoln, and Samuel and Kelly Sylvester of Houston; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 N.W. Front St., Milford.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
