Laurence Joseph Fuller

Laurence Joseph Fuller, 62 MILFORD - Laurence Joseph Fuller, formerly of Easthampton, Mass., died Monday, March 15, 2010 at Delaware Hospice Center. Mr. Fuller was born in Northampton, Mass, the son of Shirley (Scott) Fuller and the late Richard Fuller. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was a millwright at General Foods in Dover until 1995, when he retired on disability. He was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, the American Legion, the First State Antique Tractor Club and the Milford Moose Lodge. He enjoyed NASCAR racing and working on tractors, engines and computers. He also enjoyed listening to a variety of music. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister Sue Orzel. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Charlene Fuller; a son, Joseph Michael Fuller; a daughter, Loretta Lynn Dundore; and his mother, Shirley (Scott) Fuller, all of Milford; four brothers, Robert Fuller, Joseph Fuller and Christopher Fuller, all of Rehoboth Beach and Richard Fuller, of Mass.; two sisters, Mary Fuller of Lincoln and Pat Worpek, of Mass.; one granddaughter; one great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. Friends visited with the family on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford, where a flag presentation ceremony was held by the U.S. Air Force. A Memorial Mass will be 11 a.m., Saturday, March 27, 2010, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 506 Seabury Avenue, Milford. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the American Lung Association National Headquarters, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Suite 800. Washington, DC 20004, or to Bayhealth Milford Memorial Hospital, 2nd Floor, Intermediate Care, P.O. Box 199, Milford, DE 19963.
