Larry Wayne Cox , 77
SMYRNA, DE - Larry Wayne Cox went to be with the Lord on January 18th, 2024.
Larry was born in Baltimore, MD to the late Merle Elliott Cox and Betty Irene Cox (Krapf).
He is survived by his loving daughters, Tiffany Marie Miranda (39 of Anchorage, Ak) Miranda Marie Cox (34 of Seattle Wa), Victoria Marie Lech (31 of Dover De); his brother, David Cox; sister, Patricia Roney; his three grandkids, Cedric, Freya, Jason Jr.; and his son in laws, Jason Lech Sr., and Mike Miranda.
Larry was a devoted father and grandfather. He loved spending time with his Bubba (Jason Jr.). He was a proud Vietnam Veteran, enjoyed photography, rescuing animals, and cheering on his favorite sports teams (Redskins, and Flyers). He was a skilled plumber, and all around handyman.
He was a devout Christian, and truly believed "there is a better life awaiting all of us"- his words.
Larry will be missed by his family and friends. He can now rest in peace with the love of his life, Brenda.
A Celebration of Life will be offered 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 25th at The Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover, DE 19901 where visitation begins at 10:00 AM. Interment with Military Honors will be held 1PM at the Delaware Veterans
Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966.
