Larry Darnell Price, 51

CHESTER, Md. - Larry Darnell Price of Chester died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, in Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore. He was 51.

Mr. Price was born Aug. 8, 1955, in Easton, son of the late Darty G. Price and Thelma Bertha (Robinson) Lanman.

He received his education in the Queen Anne's County schools.

He was employed as a mechanic at Willis Tire and Auto, and also did concrete work in his personal time. His favorite job was working for Rosedale Amusements.

Mr. Price attended church at Batts Neck.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Theresa and Phyllis.

He is survived by a son, Larry D. Price Jr.; four brothers, Erton Price of New Jersey, Howard Lanman Sr. of Easton, Tyrone Price of Stevensville and Charles Lanman of Baltimore; seven sisters, Ann Bailey and Sandra Taylor, both of Hurlock, Iris Moore of Denton, Vergie Fletcher of Cambridge, Florence Johnson and Yvonne McKissic, both of Washington, D.C., and a special sister, Deborah Bordley of Grasonville; two special friends, Karen Thomas and Angel King; two brothers-in-law, Fredrick Bailey and Walter Taylor; an aunt, Iva Pierce of Stevensonville; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday in Ezion United Methodist Church, Stevensville.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the church, where friends may call one hour earlier.

Burial will be in Robinson's A.M.E. Church Cemetery, Grasonville.

Arrangements by Bennie Smith Funeral Home.
