Larry D. Rowe

ROCKFORD, Ill. - Larry D. Rowe, of Rockford, formerly of Georgetown, passed away Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, at his home following a long illness. Larry was born on June 20, 1955, in Wilmington, before moving to Georgetown during his early years where he graduated from Sussex Central High School. Larry became a truck driver and drove for many years before retiring due to his illness. His many hobbies included hunting, crabbing, and watching NASCAR racing. He also enjoyed spending time with his son, playing bluegrass music and displaying fireworks for his friends. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Louise Rowe. He is survived by his son, Lane Rowe of Lincoln; one sister, Faye Hardt and her husband Arthur Hardt III, of New Castle; one niece; one nephew; and many cousins and beloved friends. A funeral service will be held in Bradshaw, WV. and the Interment will be held at the Rowe cemetery in Bradshaw WV. at a later date.
