Kiyo Naomi Belanger
Kiyo Naomi Belanger of Magnolia, Delaware, passed away Friday, June 10, 2022, at Delaware Hospice. She was 83.

Mrs. Belanger was born April 5, 1939, in Okinawa, Japan, to the late Nae and Shoichi Tamanaha. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, playing cards, especially, Hanafuda (Japanese Cards), which was her favorite. She enjoyed spending time at the casinos, playing on the slot machines, and singing karaoke. Her most precious time was spent with her family, her children, and grandchildren, who meant the world to her.

Mrs. Belanger is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Howard Belanger of Magnolia, Delaware; her son, Joseph Belanger (Lena) of Magnolia, Delaware; her daughters, Tina Risner of Dover, Delaware, and Linda Deaton (Glenn) of Dover, Delaware; and grandchildren, Chris Kimber of Dover, Delaware, Robert Deaton (Sarah) of San Francisco, California, and Mike Deaton of Berlin, Maryland.

A viewing will be held 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover, Delaware.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following morning, 10:00am, Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State Street, Dover, Delaware. Interment will be held at Sharon Hills Memorial Park, 2928 Sharon Hill Road, Dover, Delaware.
