Kevin James Potter, 46

FELTON - Kevin James Potter of Felton died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2007, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was 46.

He was born Aug. 13, 1960, in Dover, son of the late Clayton and Helen (Townsend) Potter.

Kevin worked as a laborer in construction.

He loved motorcycles and enjoyed tinkering mechanically in his shop.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Potter, in 1988.

He is survived by two brothers, C.D. "Pete" Potter and his wife Sue of Bowers Beach, and P. Brett Potter and his wife Sue of Smyrna; a sister, Pamela D. Dickerson and her husband Gary of Clermont, Fla.; his companion, Karen McIntire; and several nieces, nephews and extended family of friends.

Kevin"s life will be celebrated with a memorial service at 2 p.m. Friday in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call one hour before services.

Burial will be in Barratt"s Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.

Flowers are appreciated, but for those who wish, memorial gifts may be given to help with funeral expenses.
