ROCK HALL, Md. - Kenneth M. Glenn Sr., of Rock Hall, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2008, in his home. He was 73.

Mr. Glenn was born June 9, 1934, in Skinner's Neck, Rock Hall, son of the late Melvin L. and Mary Kelly Glenn.

He was a lifetime resident of Rock Hall, where he worked as a gunning guide on Eastern Neck Island, painted for Sockey Dowling, and was caretaker of the Goose Down Farm in Still Pond, retiring in 1996.

Mr. Glenn enjoyed decoy carving.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Mary Duvall Glenn, in 1994; and three sisters, Lorraine Heinefield, Betty Glenn and Lucille Stokes.

Mr. Glenn is survived by a son, Kenneth Glenn Jr. and his wife Edna; a daughter, Sharon Hummer; a brother, Ronnie Glenn; two sisters, Patsy Higgs, all of Rock Hall and Shirley Palmatory of Millington; six grandchildren, Kenneth Glenn III, Amber, Megan and Morgan Glenn, John Irick III and Mary Ann Irick; and seven great-grandchildren, Brittney, Taylor, Kailey, and Jaden Irick, Dakota Leonard, Janelle Thompson and William Thompson, IV.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Wesley Chapel Church, Rock Hall.

Burial will be private.

Memorials may be offered to Chester River Home and Hospice, 6602 Church Hill Road, Chestertown, MD 21620.
