Kenneth F. Bartsch

MILLSBORO - Kenneth F. Bartsch, of Millsboro, formerly of Clayton, Del., departed this life on Aug. 22, 2015. He was born in Dover, Del. on July 8, 1953. He spent most of his life driving tractor trailers which he loved to do. He drove for Metro Express and NAPA. He had his own tractor trailer business for a while before he decided to go to work with Estes. He decided to move to Millsboro and was employed at Perdue Foods of Georgetown, Del. Ken enjoyed doing gardening and landscaping. He was a NASCAR fan and loved going to the races. He looked forward to socializing with his family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with his dogs and going to the beach in the summer. Ken was a very giving person to others in need and was always there to lend a helping hand. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Fannie Bartsch of Townsend. He is survived by his five brothers and one sister, Harry Jr. (Janie), Robert (Pennie), John (Sandi), Frank (Sharlene), Donald (Leslie) and Ruth Ann Biddle (James); and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Monday, Aug. 31, 2015 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home, 212 N. Broad Street, Middletown, DE 19709 followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Townsend Cemetery in Townsend, Del. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the following in memory of Kenneth: Delaware Humane Association, 701 A Street, Wilmington, DE 19801 and Delaware SPCA Sussex Chapter, 22918 DuPont Highway, Georgetown, DE 19947.
