Annable, 81 MILFORD - Kenneth D. "Chip" Annable, of Milford, Del., died Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital. He was born in Mineola, N.Y., the son of the late Kenneth D. and Edith Small Annable. He severed in the U.S. Army and worked for DuPont's in Wilmington, as a finance manager prior to retiring. Mr. Annable attended Cobleskill and Hofstra University. He was a member of the Milford Elks Lodge #1589 and The Fraternal Order of Eagles, Wilmington, Del. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Helen Farrell Annable; five children, William and Linda Annable, Alice Blake, Jean Rowe and John Annable; one sister, Alice Schlichting; and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013 in the Chapel of Berry Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, Milford, DE. Interment will be private at Delaware Veterans Cemetery, Millsboro, DE. The family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association 200 Continental Drive, Suite 101, Newark, DE 19713.
