Kenneth Christopher "Kenny" Riddick, 16

CHESWOLD - Kenneth Christopher "Kenny" Riddick of Cheswold died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 16.

He was born May 3, 1991, in Milford, son of Jacqueline Douglas and Kenneth R. White.

Kenny, or Little Kenny as he was known by family, was a very loving gentleman. He loved to make people laugh.

When he was not entertaining, he enjoyed landscaping, playing basketball and listening to music.

On weekends, Kenny would spend time with his father, who he had a very close relationship with. The two of them spent time going to basketball games, NASCAR races and working on cars in the yard.

Kenny loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with all of them.

At Dover High School, where Kenny was a junior, he was enrolled in a drivers" education class. Kenny was so excited about this class because he was really looking forward to finally being able to drive.

Also at Dover High, Kenny had hoped to take a few computer-aided drafting classes. He loved to draw and eventually wanted to become an architecture engineer. Kenny was very enthusiastic about pursuing this career and wanted to go to college to make this dream come true.

Kenny will be remembered for his charm, intelligence and sense of style. He will truly be missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Essie M. White; and maternal uncle, James Riddick.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Jacqueline and Roger Douglas of Cheswold; his father, Kenneth R. White of Dover; two sisters, Kimberly Riddick of Cheswold, and Tara (Bruce) Mosley of Ellendale; two brothers, Christopher Bratten of Dover, and Keshon White of Smyrna; three nieces, Nakira Riddick, Ashanti Riddick and Kyasia Riddick, all of Cheswold; three nephews, Tymire Riddick of Cheswold, Isaac Riddick of Dover, and Bruce Mosley of Ellendale; his maternal grandparents, James and Christina Haynes of Lincoln; his paternal grandfather, Blease White Sr. of Dover; his aunts, Jennifer (George) Bibbins of Lincoln, Velma (Roger) Cain of Camden, Falishia (Keith) Callwood of Dover, Thelma (Philip) Dixon of Felton, Sabrina Haynes of Georgetown, Theadora Morris of Dover, Angie Riddick of Harbeson, Patricia (Surinder) Saini of Ellendale, and Gardenga (Harry) Turner of Ellendale; his uncles, Curtis Riddick of Dover, Dale (Debbie) Riddick of Houston, James Haynes of Georgetown, Blease White Jr. of Philadelphia, Herbert (Cindy) White of Dover, Joseph White of Dover, Raymond (Sherry) White of Ellendale, and Solomon (Marilyn) White of Fenwick Island; his stepsister, Amanda Jones of Philadelphia; two best friends, Aaron Ewing of Dover, and Michael Cooper of Smyrna; a special friend, Alexis Williams of Dover; and a host of cousins, friends and other relatives.

A viewing will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bennie Smith Funeral Home in Dover. Services will be noon Saturday at Pentecostal Church of God, 9163 Greentop Road, Lincoln, where friends may view two hours prior.

Burial will be at Milford Memorial Community Cemetery.
