Kearstin Marie Faith Milligan, 6

HARRINGTON - Kearstin Marie Faith Milligan, of Harrington, died Monday, March 23, 2009, in A.I. DuPont Hospital, Wilmington. She was 6. She was born in Newark to Ronald E. and Florie M. Milligan of Harrington. Although Kearstin was very sick and spent most of her life at A.I. DuPont Hospital, it was always a joy to be around her. When she was happy and content, she loved to suck her thumb, cross her feet, and clap her hands. She did not like to have her feet covered. When she smiled, she would light up the whole room and glow like an angel. Her big happy smile made everything worthwhile and made everything seem alright. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Helen Rohlfing. In addition to parents, she is survived by her brother, Chris M. Milligan; sisters, Casey M., Heather M., Katelyn N. Milligan, Alisha G.; paternal grandparents, Russell F. and Roberta Milligan of Laurel; maternal grandparents, Edward Rohlfing of Millsboro; and many aunts uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2009, in Calvary Wesleyan Church, Harrington. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Carey's Cemetery, Millsboro. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to help defray funeral expenses, Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, DE 19952.
