GREENWOOD - Kathryn M. Coverdale passed away at home on Wednesday, January 13, 2021.
Kathryn was born in Georgetown to the late Rodney and Carrie (King) Wilson. She worked for Perdue Farms laying chicken eggs. She was also a member of Calvary UM Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her soulmate, Fred Jensen in 1999; her son, Edward Coverdale; and her siblings.
She is survived by her sons, Pete Wolf of Salisbury and James W. Coverdale of Greenwood; 7 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, DE 19963, where friends may call after 12 noon. Interment will follow at St. Johnstown Cemetery in Greenwood. All those in attendance must wear a mask and adhere to social distancing and gathering protocols.
