WOODSIDE - Kathryn I. Kenton passed away at home on January 7, 2021.
Mrs. Kenton had been a clerk for Playtex for 15 years. Afterwards, she was a clerk for the State of Delaware Department of Elections, retiring after 20 years of service. She had volunteered at Bayhealth and had done volunteer work with the Front Porch Program at the Modern Maturity Center. She really enjoyed helping people. She also enjoyed gardening. One of her greatest joys was just being around her family.
Mrs. Kenton was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard E. Kenton, who passed away 11 years ago. She is survived by her son, Kevin B. Kenton and his wife, Lori, of Woodside; her daughter, Cynthia L. Sargent of Woodside; six grandchildren: Jessica, Nicole, Courtney, Kyle, Megan and Zachary; and three great grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Douglas, in 2018.
Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be made via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
