GREENWOOD - Karen S. Hamilton, of Greenwood, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford. She was 69. Karen was born January 19, 1947 the daughter of the late James and Theresa Ellis Moore. She enjoyed watching sports on the television, gardening, and playing basket bingo. Karen was an avid cook and baker. Most of all she loved her family and being around her grandchildren. Karen was survived by her husband, Louis, of 50 years; two sons, Justin Hamilton and Willis Hamilton and his wife Jennifer both from Newark; eight grandchildren, Victoria, Caitlin, Jacklyn, Ciara, Jonathan, Eaodoin, Emma, and Henry; and one great grandson, Jude. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 West Market Street, Greenwood, DE 19950. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Burial will be held at Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington. Instead of flowers donations may be made to Farmington VFD, 20920 S. DuPont Hwy., Farmington, DE 19950.
