HENDERSON, Md. - Karen Ellen Adams died Monday, July 8, 2013 at Memorial Hospital in Easton, Md. Born in Cambridge, Md. on July 16, 1940, Mrs. Adams was the daughter of the late Harold Elmer Hall and Evelyn Kahl Hall. Her husband, Eugene Adams, died in 2000. Mrs. Adams graduated from the Cambridge High School in Cambridge, Md. She had worked for over 10 years as a secretary and bookkeeper for Tri-Gas & Oil Co. until her retirement. After her retirement, she proceeded to work for the town of Goldsboro, Md. until she retired as the town Treasurer. Mrs. Adams was very talented with her crocheting and making her own dolls to add to her doll collection. She also enjoyed traveling and was a great cook. Mrs. Adams is survived by two daughters, Linda Scott of Henderson and June Collins of Cambridge; three sons, Perry Adams, Harold Adams and Kevin Adams all of Henderson; one brother, Bill Hall of Hurlock, Md.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and her special friend, James Remondi. She is preceded in death by a son, Michael Adams in 1999. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 South 2nd St. in Denton, MD, where friends may visit with the family from 12:30 until 1 p.m. prior to the service.
