Karen is also survived by her grandchildren, Doreen, Elizabeth, Trevor, Michael, Troy, Taylor and Maddox; as well as her older brother, Bill Rogers and wife Terri of Olive Branch, Mississippi; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Karen worked for the State of Delaware over 15 years, acquiring a number of friends who became like family and were dear to her heart.
She loved camping with her grandchildren, as well as her great nieces and nephews. Sitting by a campfire with those she loved was one of her greatest joys. She also loved to travel. Whether it be a weeklong cruise with her husband, a one-night trip to attend a concert, or a weeks' vacation elsewhere, she was always ready to go explore!
Karen will be remembered for her beautiful smile and outgoing people person personality, as well as her love and devotion to family. She was a pillar of the family that will be missed dearly, every day.
