DOVER - Julia Scott Alicia (May) Scott entered into "Time" on July 6, 1925. She journeyed to "Eternity" safe in Jehovah's hands on Aug. 8, 2011. Julia was the younger of two daughters born to their late parents, Vaughn C. and Innus C. (Benson) May. Her sister, Sarah E. (May) Pritchett; and niece, Charlene M. (Boyd) Rudd also preceded her in death. The love and closeness they shared extented to their families and friends from her birth until this very day and beyond. Remaining to cherish and honor her memory are her loving children, Edward Garrison Sr., Lois Parker, Alicia and Joe Ross, Wallace and Alfreda Scott, and Torey Daniel; her cherished grandchildren, Perry and Vida Kellam, Kyle/Charlene Kellam, Michael Kellam, Cheryl and Eric Jenkins, Edward Garrison Jr., Candace McCleod, Eric/Desiree Sr., Roland and Arina, Larrett Kellam, Dorcia Crawford, Innus Parker, Akishia Hardman, Dorsey Parker II, Lavar Berry, Sean K. Parker Berry, Latonya Scott, Angelique and Vaughn Daniel; 50 great-grandchildren, 28 great-great-grandchildren; one uncle, Russell Ellis; four sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, Carolyn Manlove, Marian Harris, Dorothy and Robert Bryant and Mary Scott. Memorial services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at the home of Mrs. Julia A. Scott, Felton. Arrangements by Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Dover.
