Julia Curlett Hopkins, 92 BETTERTON, Md. - On Jan. 8, 2010, Julia Curlett Hopkins, of Betterton, went home to be with our Lord, after residing at Crofton Care and Rehabilitation Center in Crofton for the past two and a half years. She was 92. She was the devoted mother of Julia Patricia Schuyler and her husband Wesley, and Ray George Hopkins and his wife Sandra and the loving grandmother of Chris Leager, Annette Moore, Wade Leager, and Martha Sidlowski, and was blessed with six great grandchildren. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newnam Funeral Home, 130 Speer Road, Chestertown, and on Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m. at the Betterton United Methodist Church, where the funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Still Pond Cemetery. www.fhnfuneralhome.com
