WAYNESBURG, Pa. - Jules J. Kosco, of Waynesburg, died on Wednesday, April 1, 2009, in Southwest Regional Medical Center in Waynesburg. He was 87. He was born on Tuesday, June 21, 1921, in Trenton, N.J., a son of the late John Kosco and Helen (Berrie) Kosco. Mr. Kosco was a Veteran having served with the U. S. Army Airforce during Word War II in the European Theater of Operation. For 20 years he owned and operated with his Wife a NAPA Store in Morrisville, Delaware County, Pa. His wife, Marjorie J. (Stein) Kosco whom he married on Jan. 26, 1952, died Feb. 22, 2007. Surviving are two daughters and their husbands, Barbara K. and John Loeper of Waynesburg, Pa., and Virginia A. and Geoffrey Werner of Seaford, Del.; four grandchildren, Daniel J. Loeper, Julia R. Loeper, Sarah E. Bennett, David G. Werner; one niece; and two nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Abraham and one brother,Nick Kosco. At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation. There will be a public Memorial Service held at the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director 197 N.Maiden St. Waynesburg, Pa. at a time and date to be announced. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
