Boynton Beach, Fla. - Judith Anne Griffith Klink passed away Oct. 1, 2016, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Judy was born May 24, 1954 to W. Ardell Griffith (deceased) and D. Orene Gilliam Griffith Oakley in Ashland, Ohio. She was a 1972 graduate of Lexington High School. Judy is survived by her mother, Orene (Robert) Oakley of Lexington Ohio; her daughter, Kristie (Robert) Bronwen of Dover; her son, Andy (Julia) Klink, of Waipahu, Hawaii; sisters, Gayle (Roger) Davidson of Lexington & Cheryl Griffith of Bonita Springs, Florida, along with several nieces, nephews & great nieces. Judy was looking forward to the birth of her first grandchild in November. Judy was also very fortunate to be loved & cared for by her fiancé, John Hanlon, also of Boynton Beach. Judy never met a stranger. Her careers were varied - from banking to retail sales to real estate to campaigning for United Way - in every endeavor she gave 100%. Her family and dear friends will miss her bubbly personality and bright smile. The family appreciates your prayers during this time. Please know that life is short and live each day to the fullest. A remembrance service will be Wednesday, Oct. 19th, at Maple Dale Country Club, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. A private burial will follow in Ohio, in Ashland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation in Judy's honor to your favorite charity.
