Juanita Ruth Falasco, 84
WYOMING - Juanita Ruth Falasco of Wyoming died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007, in Green Valley Pavilion, Smyrna. She was 84.
She was born Nov. 30, 1922, in Clay Morgan, Va., daughter of the late Millard and Stella Bowman.
Mrs. Falasco had a special love for children and for many years had owned and operated a daycare in her home. She received great joy and pride in watching the many children grow up within the community.
Her many hobbies included collecting owls and following sports. She was especially fond of basketball and enjoyed bowling.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Falasco.
She is survived by four sons, Joseph Falasco and his wife Kathy of Dover, William Falasco and his wife Tammy of Tampa, Fla., Robert Falasco and his wife Nancy of Wilmington and James Falasco and his wife Yvonne of Gretna, Va.; a brother, William Bowman of Lancaster, Ohio; five grandchildren, Tina Marie Falasco of Lebanon, Maine, Tony Falasco of Annapolis, Md., Monica Falasco of Dover, William Falasco of Tampa and Douglas Falasco of Dover; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
State of Virginia services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Finch Funeral Home, Altavista, Va., where friends may call one hour before services.
Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Delaware Chapter of Alzheimer's Association, 2306 Kirkwood Highway Association, Wilmington, DE 19805.
