WILMINGTON - Joyce M. Hall of Wilmington died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006, in Newark. She was 52.
Ms. Hall was an accounting clerk for Delmarva Power & Light Co. for 26 years.
She was a member of the basket brigade of Delaware, Delmarva Power Co. picnic and the Delmarva Easter Party.
She enjoyed giving service to others in charity.
She is survived by her ex-husband, Mr. Weldon Hall of Dover; two children, Stacey Maxwell and Darren Hall of Dover; two stepsons, Weldon Hall Jr. and Wendall Hall, both of Dover; her parents, Clinton William Nickens and Nellie Luberta Hairston; 11 siblings, Otis Maxwell, James Maxwell, David Maxwell, George Nickens, Timothy Nickens, Loren Nickens, Lindley Nickens, Lawrence Nickens, Carol Nickens, William Nickens and Debbie Freeman; and five grandchildren, Jordon Maxwell, Sierra Maxwell, Alexis Maxwell, Weldon Henry Hall III and Wendall Hendrick Hall; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Congo Funeral Home, 2317 N. Market St., Wilmington.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Ezion-Mount Carmel United Methodist Church, 800 N. Walnut St, Wilmington, where friends may call two hours earlier.
Burial will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Grandchildren"s Education Fund, c/o DPL Federal Credit Union, 830 Martin Luther King Blvd., Wilmington, DE 19801, Attn. Hall Memorial Fund.
