FARMINGTON - Joyce L. Harrington of Farmington died Friday, April 20, 2007, at Capitol Healthcare, Dover. She was 70.
She was born May 28, 1936, in Houston, the daughter of the late Elmer and Hazel (Adams) Harrington.
She graduated from Harrington High School in 1955.
After graduation, she went to work for Playtex Products in Dover, retiring after 42 years of service.
Joyce was a member of AARP and attended Bethany Church of the Brethren in Farmington.
She enjoyed watching television, especially NASCAR racing.
She is survived by her sister, H. Janice Mitchell and her husband, Lewis of Harrington; two nephews, Terry L. Mitchell of Harrington and Alan E. Mitchell of Greensboro; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the McKnatt, Carpenter & Baker Funeral Home, 50 Commerce St., Harrington, where friends may call after 1 p.m.
Burial will be in Todds Chapel Cemetery, Todds Chapel Road, Greenwood.
