GOLDSBORO - Josette Lenore Wilson passed away on Feb. 9, 2019 in a tragic car accident. She was born on Feb. 5, 1994 in Easton to Reginald Lee Wilson and Lenora Beth Wilson.
Josette was a 2012 graduate of North Caroline High School where she was a member of the Band of Blue participating as the Drum Major. She loved music, was an avid reader and had her own make up blog. Josette was always cheerful with a positive attitude.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Joe Talley.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her sister, Mary Edna Latrice Weaver and her husband William "Buzzy" Weaver; grandmother, Edna Talley; aunt, Cathy Squier and husband Tracy; uncle, Gus Talley and wife Dawn; aunt, Crystal Weathers; uncle, Michael Wilson and wife Jeanne; aunt, Vanesa Wilson; cousin, Paul Miller; her beloved pets, Athena and Casey; and a host of extended family and friends.
A funeral service for Josette will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 15, 2019 in the Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro where a visitation will be one hour prior to the service, from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will follow the service in the Greensboro Cemetery.
