GEORGETOWN - Josephine R. Whitmore of Georgetown, formerly of Roxbury Township, N.J., died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006, in Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, Md. She was 76.
She worked with Rickel"s Home Center for 16 years, retiring in 1992.
Mrs. Whitmore was a member of the Roxbury"s Women"s Club for many years.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Fox.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Donald Whitmore; two daughters and a son-in-law, Donna Whitmore and Linda and Bill Ambacher; a son and a daughter-in-law, John and Carol Whitmore; a sister, Priscilla La Greca; and four grandchildren, Jocelyn, Ryan, Kristin and Lauren.
Services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday in McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union, N.J., where friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
Funeral mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Spirit Church, Union.
Memorial services will be at a later date in Georgetown.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to a charity of choice.
