Josephine M. 'Jerri' Schofield, 76

OCEAN VIEW - Josephine M. " Jerri" Schofield, age 76, of Ocean View, passed away Monday, Jan. 26, 2009. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Howard Reading Schofield; daughter, Karen Gorman (Bryan); son, Kevin Schofield; and daughter, Kimberly Hart (Bill); four grandchildren, Michael Daniels, Thomas Hart, Cory Hart and Bret Schofield; a sister Vernice Fox; brother, Richard Casey; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, in St. Anne Catholic Church, Bethany Beach. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, or from 9-10 a.m. Friday at Melson Funeral Services Bethany Chapel, Ocean View. Burial will be at the Delaware Veterans Cemetery, Millsboro. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
