Josephine B. Howard, 70

DAGSBORO - Josephine B. Howard, age 70 of Dagsboro, passed away at her home on June 5, 2009. She was born in Lewes, a daughter of the late Joseph and Ellen Collins Bailey. Josephine was a loving homemaker and mother and is survived by her daughter, Nancy Howard of Dagsboro; her brothers, Nathan and Warren Bailey; sisters, Shirley Hughes, Barbara Parker and Sarah Parker. She is also survived by a grandson and several nieces and nephews. Her husband Paul A. Howard, Jr. and a son, PV2 John Lee Howard, preceded her in death. A Memorial Service was held Tuesday, June 9, at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, Laurel. The Rev. Roland Tice officiated. Interment followed in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Seaford.
